Broadway Legend Joined: 2/24/11
I saw "Sunday" and wasn't terribly impressed, except with Julian Ovenden. I had seen this director's "Night Music" in Paris two years earlier, and it may have been the best, most innovatively directed "Night Music" I've ever seen (for example, the director had Desiree and Charlotte both on stage during "Miller's Son', both immediately after their own romantic foibles, giving the song even more irony). So I was very excited to see Sunday. Alas, directorial lightening certainly did not hit twice. Great poster though!

At least these productions a) managed to get permission to release recordings and b) have the commercial nerve to release a DVD.
Nobody in the USA has managed either of those things.
