There was a thread on the BFO forum on the official website about "Sure Thing, Baby". Someone said it was left off because it has too much dialogue in the middle of the song, and they didn't want to pay the book writers royalties for using their script on the recording.

I saw the Australian production. I also have the programme. Judging from what I heard of the Broadway CD, the Australian was much superior... which doesn't surprise me (i.e. Tanz and Dance of the Vampires, Taboo, Bombay Dreams etc.)
