I bought tickets to "Les Miserables" at the Kennedy Center and I'm starting to worry about my seats. I told the very nice and helpful gentleman on the phone that I wanted something close to the stage. He said the best he could do on a weekend was mid orchestra, but he said I'd be better off in the first tier on the side in row A. He assured me the seats are full view and close to the stage because the seats are in the side section. They are seats 5 and 7. Can anyone who has sat there or in similar seats verify this? I just want to make sure I'll be ok with the seats.
Thanks everybody, and try and stay cool out there!
And here's a link to a "Virtual Tour" of the Opera House where you can also get an idea of your view of the stage from the section you'll be sitting in:
Tickets in the 1st row of the First Tier are good seats. And since you will be in the front row, you won't have to worry about anyone's head possibly blocking your view.
