For information on the cast, it will be on the first page under "Cast Members." If a big star is going to be out, that may also appear on the page where you purchase your tickets.

So would I find out who is out after I purchased my tickets from telecharge?

I think it shows up for the big names when the box office thing comes up.

There is a site called Broadway Understudies but they are re-vamping it right now. They do have a Facebook page though.

Still not seeing where the cast in/out are;

Going to put a walk-through and find out where I am going wrong;

1 - Got the main Telecharge page up for Anything Goes, via a buy tickets link, there are 6 links on the left hand side, with Behind The Curtain, (contains cast info, but generic, not date specific) Seating Chart etc.

2 - Click find Tickets, Telecharge tab pops up where you specify how many tickets you want.

3 - Hit continue a further tab opens and here I select date and time.

4 - Once I hit continue, the tab goes onto seating, the menu for prices and where patron wants to sit.

5 - Once I hit continue Billing comes up, where you put a security code in, given to you for enhanced purchase security.

6 - I have to hit continue to go on another tab, then a ticket summary comes up, where you are sitting and cost of seat and time and date of show I opted for. It then asks to confirm date and price, another box underneath asks to re-confirm.

7 - Taken to another tab where I enter my personal details and this is as far as I can go, before I have to buy the ticket.

What section can I get cast information for that night please?

Go to Telecharge.com

Under "City," click on "NYC-Broadway."

Select your show (in your case, Anything Goes).

On the first page, you'll see a description of the show. Scroll down and you'll see information for the Venue, Running Time and Cast Members. The current info for Anything Goes is:

Sutton Foster, Joel Grey, John McMartin, Kelly Bishop, Colin Donnell, Adam Godley, Erin Mackey, Jessica Stone, Walter Charles, Robert Creighton, Andrew Cao, Raymond J. Lee Clyde Alves, Ward Billeisen, Joyce Chittick, Nikki Renée Daniels, Margot De La Barre, Kimberly Fauré, Josh Franklin, Justin Greer, Daniel J. Edwards, Tari Kelly, Shina Ann Morris, Linda Mugleston, Kevin Munhall, Adam Perry, William Ryall, Jennifer Savelli, Anthony Wayne, Kristen Beth Williams

Thanks theatreguy and everyone else xx

That is the same page as step 1 in my guide a couple of posts back, however that is the generic cast for the show, it doesn't tell you if any of the cast is going to be on vacation.

The only way Telecharge can know, is in step 3 when the patron selects date they wish to be in attendance.

There are no vacations schedule as of now. When it was announced that Sutton Foster would be out, for example, there was a * by her name and at the bottom it said something to the effect of:

*Sutton Foster will be on vacation August 23-28. The role of Reno Sweeney will be played by Tari Kelly.

And Broadway Understudies is a good place to check for last-minute substitutions.

"I see with Ticketmaster it is straight forward with them giving information out, which/when cast members are out"

Where on the Ticketmaster website do they list cast absences? I've seen such a posting, but maybe I've only been looking when no one is out!

I use Elaine Paige in 'Follies' as a example.

1 - Go To Ticketmaster home page.

2 - At top in search enter 'Follies'.

3 - Should have a list of dates for 'Follies' at the Marquis Theatre.

4 - Scroll down on page 2 to 11/12/2011 for 8pm.

5 - Click Find Tickets

6 - On top right hand side under 'My Cart' you have 4 sub headers, Event info, Onsale Dates and Times, Price Range and Note.

7 - Click on note and you should see 'Please note, Elaine Paige will not appear in performances from November 8th through November 15th.'

To be perfectly honest, they usually don't announce these things in advance unless it's a huge star. I find it interesting that they pre-announced Elaine Paige's vacation, but perhaps it's because it's a limited run and no one else is taking a vacation. I remember Catherine Zeta-Jones in Night Music and Patti LuPone/Brian Stokes Mitchell in Women on the Verge..., as well as Sutton, announcing dates they'd be out when tickets went onsale, both on Telecharge, but these announcements often seem to not be the norm.
