BWW has an article about not so happy love songs. There are so many other similar I thought I'd start a thread:
1) Another from My Fair Lady -- Show Me
2) Kiss me Kate -- I Hate Men (sung by a straight female)
3) If/Then -- I Hate You.
There must be a bunch of others,so chime in!

I just thought of another one, from the GIGI movie. (I don't know if it's in the stage musical). The song is "She is Not Thinking of Me."

"Don't Marry Me" from Flower Drum Song is great.
"We Do Not Belong Together"- Sunday In the Park With George. Although there is obviously love between them, it's more heartbreaking, in my opinion, to love someone knowing that they could never love you back fully and then have to move on from that.

^In that vein, I think "You Don't Need to Love Me" from IF/THEN fits too. I didn't care about the character in the Beth timeline, but he was all sorts of pathetic unwanted puppy in that song.
^Oh, agreed! I completely forgot about that song… Anthony Rapps character bugged the ever living crap out of me in that musical.
