I actually didn’t make the Rosa Parks one, P.J., though I wish I could take credit. I wanted to find where Reg got his, so I Googled “stonewall martin luther king jr” and the Rosa Park picture came up and I lol’d and lol’d.

I've been seeing statements via social media from Jon Robin  Baitz and others associated with the film.

 

It seems both funny and revealing that they appear to think that the (perfectly valid) negative criticism they and the film are receiving come solely from "hate," "jealousy," and similar, easily dismissed dark motivations.

 

Hardly surprising, in an age when so many people believe that any comment that isn't "nice" verges on being a hate crime; when we all expect a trophy for merely showing up; when championing excellence over mediocrity or failure is often called "elitism."
