I've been saying Leh-STAT

Stat as in the hospital "STAT" rhyming with sat.

On the making of featurette Ms. Rice says staht and everyone else (Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and the director) says stat, but I think Rice has the final say, so staht it is.

Which is also how my old French teacher said it...and how Hugh Panaro's been saying it.
