Hello gang,

I bought my Spring Awakening album on iTunes because I couldn't wait for the CD to get here. Rubbishly, it didn't come with a digital booklet.

Can someone tell me the story of the musical, and where the songs fit in (like the synopses they usually have in CDs).

Some of the songs have intrigued me and I need to know more. Who's the guy with the high-pitched voice and what's his story?

The synopsis in the CD booklet doesn't really tell you the whole story. It focuses on 4 of the characters. I am assuming the high pitched voice is Gideon Glick. If you listen to the song, you should be able to realize what's happening. The songs don't really "tell" the story. They are mostly about what is going on in their minds during certain scenes. Although you can pick up what's going on for the most part.
