Hello all!

I recently founded a theatre company in NYC, and I'm working on getting our first show produced. Does anyone know the restrictions regarding shows being performed in NYC? It'd be a non-Broadway of any kind production.

You can't do the same show as another company at the same time, and you can NEVER do a show that is currently running on Broadway, even if it is available for licensing elsewhere.

I don't mean to be rude but shouldn't you know these things BEFORE you start a theater company?
