My father was the company manager to two of Ms. Bergman's Broadway shows. "Captain Brassbound's Conversion" and "The Constant Wife". I spent a lot of time backstage and visiting performer dressing rooms as a kid. Ms. Bergman was very kind to me and I have several gifts and signed items. I would like to find a new home for some of these items. I am willing to donate for an auction for Broadway Cares, if the items would be appropriate. Other wise, I'm asking $250 or best offer, plus shipping costs.
I am only loading one photo here, but if you contact me, I can email you the other photos. The package includes:
- signed B&W 5x7 photo
- Ms. Bergman's funeral program. (My father could not attend. Griff, her personal assistant, was kind to send it to him.)
- a newspaper negative plate for "The Constant Wife" ad
- a few candid backstage photos from "The Constant Wife"
- Slipper socks worn by Ingrid on stage for several weeks of "The Constant Wife" (Due to a broken foot.) - Photo attached.
- A signed photo (to my father) of Ingrid wearing one of the slippers, in her wheelchair being pushed by her assistant, Griff.
