Hey, all. I'm in the Emerging Artists SPARK Festival with a short queer play.

Stop All the Gaycism is an art piece within a play. It honors the truths within the LGBTQAI+ community about feeling persecuted, bullied or otherwise Kafka-esque by creating monologue based conversations about coming out stories and exposure, lived through events, free hugs and other topics that makes one feel less othered. The passion expressed in words is matched on canvas as each actor (and perhaps some audience members) contribute to creating a live art piece on stage, start to finish. It’s easy to feel like what happened to us is some wild isolated cruelty but I’m hoping to show that we’ve never really been alone in it as evidenced by these stories curated from interviews of friends and family.
