1 dead, 36 injured in horrible Vegas strip accident

It is true as I just read it on a national newspaper site. I got out of BWW went to that site and now back here. Source is from a Las Vegas newspaper. Strip will be closed at least 3 hours. Happened near the Paris hotel. A women drove her car on the sidewalk. They have no idea, according to police, if it was accidental or deliberate . They have said they have no idea if it is or is not the big T

We should all know more tomorrow exactly what happened.

Now looks like deranged woman did it .The reason why she did it has yet to be determined. Hopefully we should know more as the day progresses.

Innocent people, just walking down the street... enjoying their vacay. So incredibly sad.

When there is an accident, generally innocent people are impacted. When there is one due to drinking or drugs, more often and not, the guilty party survives with barely a scratch. The innocents, inside and out of the car, are the ones who suffer the consequences. Sad but true

Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo told reporters Monday that 24-year-old Lakeisha N. Holloway wouldn’t stop and it appeared from video that it was an intentional act. Her 3-year-old daughter was in the car but wasn’t injured.

He says that after striking more than two dozen people, Holloway drove to a hotel and told a valet to call 911 after explaining what she had done.

Lombardo says police believe she had a falling out with the father of her child before the crash.

A drug recognition expert on the scene determined Holloway was under the influence of a “stimulant,” but blood test results are pending.

He says Holloway was believed to be from Oregon and had been in Las Vegas for about a week. He says investigators believe she was homeless and living in the car.

Good! As she should be, along with reckless endangerment (her child) and attempted Manslaughter for the other hospitalized victims!
