I just haaad to comment on this one.
I think this judge is on the right track. This kid is only 12 and doesn't have a prior record so maybe this will scare him straight. The attorneys are complaining that the bail is too high because no one was hurt in the shooting. Yeah, no one was hurt - this time. I am all for teaching kids a lesson so that they don't turn into lifetime criminals.
