This is at least brings a little bit of a smile to my face. Like a few other BWWers, I am job searching at the moment, and it is a soul sucking experience. At least a few of these pugs believe in us!

Millie, I am in the Midwest, but would love to be back on the east coast somewhere. I lived about 2 1/2 hours from NYC for work back in 2010. I'd work in the city about every two weeks or so. The only place on that list that I've been to is Magnolia Bakery.

I realize this is about pugs but reading the thread and I'm feeling for you all right now. I was once unemployed for two years after working at one company for over a decade. It's even more difficult when your spouse is retired and happily living off his pension and investments. It adds another layer to your frustration.

I did the next best thing and became my own boss as an outside consultant for other companies. Best career decision. Keep calm and carry on, folks. It will work itself out.
