Here's what they predicted we'd be wearing.
"OOOOOOH SWISH"
Clothing in the Year 2000
"yet another designer goes so far as to believe skirts will disappear entirely"
lol.
I love that, while not predicting the year 2000, they predicted the 40's pretty well.
ETA: Well aside from what the gentleman was wearing. I don't know what the heck that is.
That was hilarious!
I had to watch that twice.
I like that the man will be equipt with a phone and a radio. At least that part was right.
Well, they did get the belly bag right for the man on the go.
I hope they come up with that "electric belt to adapt the body to climactic changes" soon! We could use it.
I loved the "Ooooooh, swish!" part too.
EDIT: I think my favorite is the "electric headlight to help her find an honest man."
Oh, somebody invent that, quick.
LOL. This one's even freakier! And I don't know which is more futuristic-hilarious, the sci-fi TV show, or the talk show where they discuss it.

hey girly, don't forget the "candies for cuties" I am not too sure if I am appalled or insulted.
"... and candy for kyoo-tees."
Hey, it was the '30s! Nothing was PC!
These short films predicting the future are hilarious. I kinda wonder why we don't do that as much (if at all) anymore.
Is it because we think the future is so bleak and awful? Nobody's championing it (at least not "hopefully") the way they used to.
Sad times, I guess. Or we just think we're all beyond that, I guess.
But I remember when people used to be excited about what was coming the future. Not fearful or depressed.
