I love that, while not predicting the year 2000, they predicted the 40's pretty well.

ETA: Well aside from what the gentleman was wearing. I don't know what the heck that is.

I hope they come up with that "electric belt to adapt the body to climactic changes" soon! We could use it.

I loved the "Ooooooh, swish!" part too.

EDIT: I think my favorite is the "electric headlight to help her find an honest man."

Hey, it was the '30s! Nothing was PC!

These short films predicting the future are hilarious. I kinda wonder why we don't do that as much (if at all) anymore.

Is it because we think the future is so bleak and awful? Nobody's championing it (at least not "hopefully") the way they used to.

Sad times, I guess. Or we just think we're all beyond that, I guess.

But I remember when people used to be excited about what was coming the future. Not fearful or depressed.
