I'm drawing a blank on a 1980s female singer. She many times billed herself with the title "Miss" and then her name. Who am I thinking of?

I think it was someone like Patti Smith, but Miss Patti Smith doesn't sound right.

My local Marshall's had "Michael Jackson" track suits on clearance. I didn't get one. They were running low on sizes. They had lots of adult size tops but if you want a Michael Jackson Suit you have to be able to fit into Children's bottoms.
