I'm probably even older that you, ghostlight. What's my prize - a CD of the greatest hits of 1981?
I was married and working as a speech writer for Riggs National Bank in DC. I was working on my Masters degree in the evening. I really don't remember much of that year - even the music, sadly. Must have been too busy to notice life around me.

I was a junior in college that year. I was doing my junior practicum (yea, I wanted to be a teacher)and I played Benny Southstreet in the Spring musical "Guys & Dolls"....it was very memorable year.....lots of laughs,parties and new friends. I was also elected to be the Secretary of our senior class.
