re: 2 days and counting

Who thinks it's going to be me? What would happen if I was running the country? Or you?
#5

re: 2 days and counting

I saw something today that was done by pre-schoolers. It said who they think should be president.

We should all write in Melanie Griffith. Wouldn't that be amazing!

i'd vote my dog for president.

Bronx, if you were running the country, I think I might move to Canada....

Seriously though, I'm voting for Kerry.

re: 2 days and counting

there are many polls that have Bush in the lead...and many democrats are reluctantly admitting that they see Bush in the lead presently as well. (according to the news on the radio about 5 minutes ago)

Guido has an excellent point. All of these polls and predictions are to be taken with a grain of salt. All that matters is that you go vote for your candidate. Nothing can be predicted with any measure of certainty in this election.

re: 2 days and counting

And there are just as many polls that have Kerry in the lead, and Republicans have predicted a Kerry win, too. That's all meaningless crap.

But I'm still nervous enough to puke. God, I want this to be over.

gee Plum, I'm sorry I forgot to mention that the same is true in reverse. Damn me and my forgetful Republican brain. re: 2 days and counting

re: 2 days and counting

Guido, you couldn't be further from the truth. Republicans are realizing that Bush doesn't have enough of a lead to survive the Independents, Undecideds and Young People who are going to break at least 2;1 for Kerry.

Today's polls in the all-important swing states are shockingly turning to Kerry. There's really is very little chance that Bush can pull off what Reagan did in his 2nd election. It's looking more and more like the curse of the Bushes: one-term blunders.

re: 2 days and counting

We'll, see PalJoey. It's still far too close to be sure.

Though to be completely fair, I'm the idiot who called a Democratic victory before the primaries even started. Talk about risky predictions. re: 2 days and counting

re: 2 days and counting

Pal, you're getting too caught up in polls and predictions. Step back a little and realize what is real.

re: 2 days and counting

What is real is the rebirth of hope in America. People are realizing that all it takes to remove Bush from office is their ONE SINGLE VOTE.

re: 2 days and counting

Hope is a wonderful thing - but I worry about chicken counting. I'm a bit superstitious.

re: 2 days and counting

I think the republicans are saying Kerry to move the Bush supporters, and vice versa. Either way I'm scared!

I dunno about that, shesings. Pundits hate being wrong.

re: 2 days and counting

YOu don't think they'd do it if they thought it would bring out more voters? Or help push the undecided toward their party? I think they would. If the option is being wrong or having your guy lose, I think they'd go with wrong. It is just my opinion though. I think thats what Tucker is up to!

re: 2 days and counting

I still say the ideal Presidential/Vice Presidential running team would be Oprah and Tony Danza respectively.
And hang on, when did you win the discus?

re: 2 days and counting

I still think I should run the country. CJR, why would you move? What's wrong with my politics? Just because I would outlaw Terra McCleshod from performing on Broadway doesn't mean I can't deal with the economy!
#24

re: 2 days and counting

It has nothing to do with Terra. You just talk out of your ass half the time. I'd fear for the safety of the nation if you were in charge.

Of course, you could be completely sane and very capable of it, but you've never shown any proof of that here, so I don't have much to go on.

Damn it! If I would have known Woo was running I would have voted for him!
