Just filled mine out and mailed it.
This was my first one and I was surprised at how short it was.
Took me less than 3 minutes.
Anyone else send theirs in yet?
Haven't gotten mine yet. But they did send me a notice last week informing me that they'd be sending one sometime this week.

I got mine yesterday. I meant to bring it to work and mail it today but I forgot.
Mailing mine today--very easy to fill out. And one of the most important things gay couples can do to make a difference.

Well lookie here! A whole set of tips to make sure this census knows who you are!
What Every LGBT Person Should Know About the Census
I got mine several months ago and filled it out and sent it in, yet I just received another one in the mail yesterday.
I just got mine and resent being threatened. On the front it says, Your Response Required by Law. What are they going to do if I don't fill it out? Send a team of Republicans to beat me up?
I'm sickened by the amount of money being spent on this roll call.
If they want mine, they can come get it...with or without Republicans.
Edit: I just opened it, and there is not postage-paid enevelope for return. When they send me a stamp, I'll send it.

The official census is postage paid. No stamp needed.
The census is in the Constitution. It's a non-partisan concept. And, it's important, particularly if you are of minority status. This census will affect districting. It affects funding.
I know people get freaked out by "the man" getting all in their business, but this is really very benign. "The man" is way more in your business when you fill out your tax return, so this is nothing. Certainly nothing to get upset about.
I got an envelope and there is a big notice saying that it you didn't receive one to please mail it anyway.
From what my dad tells me, they will come to your door to get your info if you don't send it in. They can be really tenacious and annoying so it's probably just easier to send it.
Tazber, I think I know when something is official. You did not read your form. It says, if your postage-paid enevelope is missing send to...
I didn't get one; therefore, **** this country.
Meow! Why so defensive?
I don't care if you send yours in or not, martin. I was just pointing out that there was a mention on the census asking you to return it whether you got the pre-paid envelope or not.

I am really blown away by the question about race, as that distinction has been discredited by science for years.
And even if it hadn't, what the hell are choices like Japanese and Chinese?!? These were ever considered different races, when people believed in such distinction?

I did mine last night. It was a lot shorter than I remembered from 10 years ago. It's important to be counted - whether the form is flawed or incomplete. Write in whatever is missing but for heaven's sake - and the sake of your community send it in.
I just scrawled "TWO BIG FAGS LIVE HERE AND WE ARE MARRIED" across the thing in Sharpie.
Just finished mine. Weird that they say "Hispanic origins are not races," but then I don't fit any of the many races they listed.
SM, you're an Other, which makes its own kind of sense.
