To those of you weren't there (and to the 8 of us who were), I just wanted to say that our meetup was a great success!
After meeting at the Eclectic Cafe in North Hollywood, we ate dinner, then went to see "Dorian" with Max Von Essen. It looks like the most demanding part since Jekyll and Hyde. Literally. But I recommend it, as it is intriguing, to say the least.
Thanks everyone who came! I hope we can do it again.

Hi Shira! And everyone else who was there! Especially to Cindy and DGrant who are members of this board. I had a great time and so did Jessica a.k.a imcuteloveme. We loved the show and found it ironic how a couple of our friends play in the band. O and as we were leaving the theater the guy who played the painter stopped us to thank us for coming and we ended up chatting for a few min, he is SO nice. And we loved The Eclectic Cafe'. We need to do this more often.
Glad you guys had fun! Got any pictures for us?

I took a couple and Shira took a bunch! She was like the professional photographer there, she was really good at it and had a fancy shmance camera, it was nice! So I am sure there will be some up soon enough.

Thanks to Shira, laactress, imcuteloveme and Cyndy (and guests!) - it was indeed a pleasure to spend time with you, and obviously we had a good time (all that laughter could mean only one thing
)
And, yes - we need to do it more often!

Liam, perhaps your parents would let you meet a bunch of people you've met on-line if you promise to do something about your atrocious spelling.
I say the Texans should get together sometime...

Dollypop - while the people on the east coast may have to suffer through the knowledge that you are near, I can't see why we on the west coast should have to put up with your nonsense in threads that are of absolutely no concern to you whatsoever.
Liam's spelling is none of your concern. While his posts may have gramatical errors, they are unfailingly polite AND on topic - which is something that you don't seem to be able to achieve.
Please confine yourself to topics that seem suited to your general disposition - such as pest control or stockyards.
In case the point of this post isn't clear, let me be a little more straightforward - your Bitchiness is neither warranted nor appreciated, and if this is all you can come up with to post here, maybe you should find something else to do with your time.

I just got home from one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. What an incredibly ducky evening. It was such a treat to meet all of you. I just wish we had had more time. Let's please, please plan on another gathering sometime soon!
