Posted: 3/6/08 at 12:13pmI have had personal experience with something like this and if the investigation reveals that a parent or someone who lives in the household did in fact force feed this child that child should be taken away from the parents until such time as the parent(s) can prove that they are ready to care for a child. Children of this or any age do not need to fight this kind of abuse especially if they are born to a family with an alcoholic. They are already more prone to become alcoholic as they age. Why get them started at age 3 or 4 and risk alcohol poisoning and death? When we consider the number of dysfunctional families in the world it is a miracle that any child grows up stable and emotionally well balanced. I hope someone watches over this poor child.
