400 March in Palm Springs at VillageFest

so last night 400 'No on 8' supporters marched through VillageFest, a streetfair we have almost every Thursday night of the year.

It was peaceful....and about 30 police officers watched.....and here is what one of the onlookers said:

“I came down here to have fun at the street fair” said San Diego resident Jeff White. “To disrupt our space is ridiculous.”

So...Jeff, I'm sorry your "space" was disrupted. I'm sorry wanting the same rights you curtrently have is ridiculous, and I am sorry YOU are ridiculous. Go back to San Diego, and don't visit my city again.....yoiu hateful little A**.

A side note, I was not able to attend as I am in horrid, I repeat, HORRID San Jose for a conference. Steve went down to march, but somehow could only find the police, and not the marchers......that was probably due to 'Stevetime" which is usually 30-45 minutes latter that whatever timezone he is in.

At least the police kept the hateful little woman away who keeps saying she is not there to antagonize, but rather show who the haters are...nice try no one is buying it, honey.

I am truly beginning to believe that either another Stonewall must happen, or that somewhere blood will be spilled to get us the rights guarenteed to us under not only the US Constitution, but our state constitution.

It is going to get ugly, as I think we are all tired of taking it.

Another rally is planned for Saturday at City Hall...where 3 of the 5 city council members (including the Mayor) are gay.
