I know I'm stretching on this one, but does anybody know if there is a recording of the act that toured with Rosemary Clooney, Margaret Whiting, Rose Marie, and Helen O'Connell? I think is called 4, Girls, 4. I know there was at least a recording of them doing "If You Don't See What You Want Up Here".
I've searched and searched for this and have never been able to find it. I hope there's someone out there who at least remembers this.

I don't think 4 GIRLS 4 was recorded, but the recording you heard of "If You Don't See..." was probably from PLAYGIRLS, a 1964 Las Vegas show that played the Desert Inn starring Julie Wilson, Cara Williams, Kay Stevens and Connie Russell.

Thanks, Wildcat. It's been so long since I've heard that. Needless to say it was a choice cut for many a drag show I attended in the late 70's.
Undiscovered, thank to you too for that video. I did not know about that.

I think they're STILL doing it around the traps. Remember "We're the Mothers of Tomorrow?" And I saw a drag queen miming to "Kay Stevens at the Copa" only last month!

There used to be a broad in Memphis who did Ricochet Romance. That dame weighed over 300 pounds and was the favorite of all. I think it was Trudy Richards recording.
