i know i haven't posted much with school and everything, and i feel bad having the first topic i start in months being this one, but i just dont know what to with myself today.
today marks 5 years since my friends and i were all called into the guidance office one by one during 4th period and were told that our friend dj had passed away.
it just seems so unreal that 5 years ago last night, his life ended at age 17. we all got older and grew up and graduated high school... some of us graduated college, others are still in college, one of us is married, another is engaged, 3 are in the military, one has a beautiful son.
so much has happened in the past 5 years, i never really noticed how much goes on, how much changes, and how much people grow in the 5 years after high school.
we all grew and changed except dj, who died on november 5th, 2003
