50's TV DECADES Cracks the Vault

For history buffs, or for the many, many many of us not even a "twinkle'... Decades, (the CBS over the air/cable network) is bringing out a lot of tv shows this week that have not been seen in a long, long time...

So if you can tolerate:

1) the sexist jokes, 2) the smoking and cigarette ads, and 3) their own target audience ads (scaring seniors about falling down, senior depends, and stair lifts) you'll be able to "enjoy" the time when there were 3 or 4 networks...

Dinah Shore Show, Groucho Marx, Private Secretary, Your Show Of Shows, Studio One, Rocket Squad...Liberace !!! (is this what they watched in gays bars or just everywhere?) For those of us way "not even born" then, some of these shows are downright almost "AmericanHorrorStory:1950". I'm sure if I had been alive back then it wouldn't have been "all" bad either.

I wonder if these shows have fallen into PD? CBS/Decades should try to secure Carol Burnett, Ed Sullivan, Hollywood Palace... rights.
