According to THE SOUND OF MUSIC: THE MAKING OF AMERICA'S FAVORITE MOVIE, Myra Franlin from Wales saw the film NINE HUNDRED AND FORTY TIMES!!! (That is NOT a mis-print.)
I don't know about TSOM, but I'm pretty darn sure I could sit through my treasured lovely GONE WITH THE WIND 940 Times. )
What play, musical or movie could you view 940 Times?

I don't think I could stomach either of those films 940 times. In order to see something that many times, there's got to be something different each time, like seeing ROCKY HORROR with a cast in the theatre.

Hey Matt,
I was a HUGE ROCKY HORROR fan when I was in College--never dressed up, but went EVERY Saturday night--and I could recite the WHOLE screenplay and lyrics.
Do they still have "live" casts at ROCKY HORROR shows today?

Posted: 12/3/04 at 10:58amMovie theaters have really clamped down on live Rocky Horror performances. They got tired of cleaning up the rice and all the other junk. But I think one of the theaters in the East Village still runs a midnight performance on weekends.

940 times! Wow! I don't know what movie I could watch that much (although I don't really keep track of the # of times I watch something....) I think I would have to go with....SOMEONE LIKE YOU (w/ Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd). I love that movie!
