A Festivus for the Rest of Us

Tomorrow marks the Celebration of Festivus, started in 1966 and immortalized in a Seinfeld episode in 1997.
An aluminum pole is generally used in lieu of a Christmas tree or other holiday decoration, shedding holiday materialism. Those attending participate in the "Airing of Grievances" in which each person tells each and everyone else all the ways they've disappointed him/her over the past year, and after a Festivus dinner, the "Feats of Strength" are performed. Traditionally, Festivus is not over until the head of the household is wrestled to the floor and pinned.
Here's the Festivus Pole.
I hope Rob is ready for a lot of wrestling.

ignore the obtuse snapper lapper. all come forward for the airing of the grievances.
daydreamer, i had high hopes for your posting this year. sadly you were generally kind, well meaning and somewhat upbeat. i could not be more disappointed in you had you passed on the opportunity to toss helena bonham carter's salad.

"obtuse snapper lapper"
Jeez, papa, you could at least TRY to give me a reason to be disappointed in you.

Okay, I guess I'll start.
Rath, I am still a little upset about that Fiona thing and the white chocolate was a bit of a shock too.
#9re: A Festivus for the Rest of Us
Posted: 12/22/06 at 12:39pmWell, I'm not happy about the height thing, if we're getting into it.

I can't change the Fiona Apple thing either. Accept me as I am, bitch!
And all these public/private conversations on threads today? EXTREMELY disappointing, miss.

Papa, Christmas isn't until Monday!
Rath, this thread is for the airing of grievances.

See papa, I had the same expectation from you... hoping you'd be a little kinder and gentler. Oh well...
RobbO... I'm terribly disappointed that you never include me on the Old Hands thread posts. And don't go posting about me now... too late, buck'o.

Posted: 12/22/06 at 2:32pmcolleen lee, i don't even know where to begin with how disappointed i am in you. clearly it can be summed up in three words: no bare bottom. i couldn't be more disappointed in you if you had held cheno's voice ursula style in a little bottle and gave it back to her for some magic beans and a jackrabbit.

RobbO: I too am disappointed that I was never included in the "Old Hands" thread.
papa: I was disappointed that you aren't an old pervert, just a younger perv.
Rath & Calvin: I was hurt that you gave me the brush at Zanzibar.
I'll think of more, I'm sure.

I was joking... a little.
The thing is, I was the odd-man out. Everyone seemed to know each other, except for me. Thus, I just sat there like a moron, on the outside looking in.
