I wanna know if anyone else on the boards love this Disney animated movie as much I do. The music is great, the story is great, and did you know that Aaron Lohr (BARE) provides the singing voice of Max? I just found that out. Anyways I just thought I'd share my love of this movie...not that I have seen it in at least 6 years...but the soundtrack is one of my faves.

Hah...I know, I just kind of randomly started singing it the other day and everyone around me knew all the words...it is kind of like Newsies in the sense that it isn't all that famous, yet everyone my age knows it off by heart.
My favourite song is "After Today" I still think that song would translate so well to stage.

Hah Princess Kida was the only reason I stayed awake during Atlantis...and some cool production design.

I am amused by the fact that "Peg-Leg Pete", the mean bully of the old Disney shorts is now just "Pete", the cranky neighbor in the Goofy stories.
What's next - will Captain Hook be changed to "Captain Manually-Challenged"?

Hah you raise a good point. And also HOW HAS GOOFY LOST HIS VIRGINITY? hah...I wish they showed a picture of what his wofe looked like. What girl would go for that...well if there is hope for him there is hope for me.

Posted: 8/30/04 at 11:51pmI am not ashamed........I still own the soundtrack. lol. I-2-I is a great song indeed. Why doesn't disney make movies like that anymore? Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King.....these were all great musicals that earned Disney A LOT of money and now their cartoons are crap.

Posted: 8/30/04 at 11:59pmthe storylines they choose aren't really that good. with the success of tarzan they decided to go without the musical numbers, which i will agree worked well with emperor's new groove (i die of laughter everytime i watch that one). plus they think they'll have more success with the computer animation... but i think a lot of people miss the classic approach like us. guess it's all about the changing audiences...
