I am particularly saddened by this news because I had some friends in final callbacks to take over for some lead roles if the run was extended till January. Sadly I won't get to see them in those roles now. Best of luck to the talented cast...can't wait to see them all in other shows. Akiva

Its been a rough week for the Toronto theatre community. While I didn't know her very well, I have seen her a few times in shows around town and share many mutual friends who spoke very highly of her. Thoughts are with her friends and family. West Side Story at Stratford was superb, but I don't know how well a transfer of any sort would translate. The use of the thrust stage was really a huge a part of the magic, and how everyone dealt with that. Akiva

No Way! her album is titled after a track she recorded from a show called Variations on a Nervous Breakdown...of which I was the Set and Costume Designer for the original production. I love that song. Go Canada! Akiva
