So Richard Lester's A HARD DAY'S NIGHT is running at NYC's Film Forum in a bold new restoration, and I saw it yesterday and was just overwhelmed with pure ecstatic delight. I can't recommend it highly enough for those in need of some ecstatic delight, and frankly, who isn't?

Yes, this restoration is available in a lovely Blu-Ray from the good folks at Criterion, but don't miss the chance to see it on a big screen with an appreciative audience.

I feel like I already saw one restoration in the late-'90s or so on the big screen. At any rate, I always cry at the last line and image.
