Klein departs and now this magazine gal is immediately named to replace him.
When will Mike Bloomberg realize that the NYC schools need EDUCATORS running them. It's not a business. It's a school system. You can manipulate the numbers all you want, but the city schools are FAILING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted: 11/10/10 at 10:34amKlein wasn't an educator, and NYC is hardly the first major urban school district to bring in a non-educator to run the schools. I don't know if I think it's the best idea, but this is certainly not unheard of in urban education right now.
