If there is only one recorded Soundtrack for a musical, and it is on Broadway do you refer to is at the OCR or the OBCR.

More specifically, do you only distinguish with the B if for example there is a London Recording as well.

I am not quite sure of the proper practice.

Rent - OCR or OBCR?

Les Mis - OLCR and OBCR?

I usually just say OBC. or OCR. I don't normally say OBCR. But I don't really think it matters too much, as long as you don't say soundtrack.

I say OBC. There's no real "correct" way to say it. As long as it's not soundtrack.

OST - Original Sound Track
OBC/OBCR - Original Broadway Cast (Recording)
OLC/OLCR - Original London Cast/Original London Cast Recording
RCR - Revival Cast Recording

That's what I use.
