The only time I went to a stage door was to see Hugh Jackman, and considering how pushy, rude, and just plain weird some of the fans there seemed to be, he did a remarkable job of staying calm and courteous and signing as many items as possible. He either has the patience of a saint or he's a
really great actor- either way I admire him.
And while we're at it, the rest of the cast of
The Boy From Oz deserve credit, too, for being perfectly cheerful in the face of about 100 people who were disappointed that it was
them who came out of the door instead of Jackman.
