The only time I went to a stage door was to see Hugh Jackman, and considering how pushy, rude, and just plain weird some of the fans there seemed to be, he did a remarkable job of staying calm and courteous and signing as many items as possible. He either has the patience of a saint or he's a really great actor- either way I admire him.
And while we're at it, the rest of the cast of The Boy From Oz deserve credit, too, for being perfectly cheerful in the face of about 100 people who were disappointed that it was them who came out of the door instead of Jackman.

Class Acts (That haven't already been mentioned)
David Masenheimer (Javert in Les Miserables). He's a good friend of mine and is really good to his fans. He hates dissapointing anyone. After one performance he had invited my family and I to go backstage after meeting him at the stage dorr. He signed for everyone who asked before taking us in and showing us around. Dressing rooms, set pieces, wigs, costumes, everyting. He also took us out on the stage. He really didn't have to do any of that. Though he isn't exactly well known with a mob waiting for him at the stagedoor, he's down to earth, polite, and wants to make everyone happy no matter how much of his time it may take.
Oh yea. Maybe you can help me with this one. There was an african american guy that I met at the stage door of the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tour. I don't remember where he signed, because I had him sign a t-shirt (there weren't any nice programs). He was increadibly nice to me. He was smiling and you could tell that he was truly happy to be there and not putting up a fake smile for the fans and secretly thinking 'I want to go home'. He started conversations and asked what I thought of the show and what my favorite part was etc. I wish I could figure out who he was so I could find out what he is doing in the future and possibly send him a letter. I have a great respect for people who can be so cheerful like that day after day at a stage door that they aren't even required to stay at. I really hope someone can help me figure out who it is because he really made a good impression on me and I'd like to catch him in other shows if hes in anything else at the moment

Maybe Ty Taylor?/ I know he was in the bway version but he might have toured. I love it how I pick one random black guy just cause I think he's insanely amazing.

Shoshanna helped out Gavin tonight because Alice was even worse today and couldn't make it (poor woman...). She is so amazingly super. I adore her. Her voice is probably one of my favorites ever. She's definitely a class act, woo.
Let's put Gavin in this category, too. He is so genuine and just... real. His energy is so contagious, as well. He's just so positive and expressive and incredibly adorable. Love him.
