Did you hear about that couple in Italy?

After a man's wife had been in a stroke-induced coma for four months, he lost all hope of her waking up. So he decided to end it all. But hours after killing himself, his beloved regained consciousness. Doctors say she stirred, smiled, and asked for her husband.

Isn't that sad? Updated On: 1/22/05 at 07:54 PM

Did the lady kill herself, too?

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Or West Side Story , yes.
But it was close to Verona, so that's another push in the direction of R&J...

Ah yes, because turning something as tragic as this into a joke about Idina is still funny the 2352309450845982374134597 time.

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."
