This was sent to me via email from someone at the animal shelter I volunteer at. The pictures and videos are pretty graphic, for those who can't take that sort of thing.

Poor thing. I hope Paws recalls this product. I wonder if this is lawsuit material.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

I read about this. There is a boycott in place against the company until the toy is removed from the shelves. The more people who get involved the faster the toy will be gone!
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!
Yeah, I don't even own a dog anymore, but I want that toy off the shelf. I would be devistated if something like that happened to any of the dogs at the shelter.

This is a good time to remind people with pets to unplug their paper shredders if they have them in their homes! They can be very dangerous for curious animals.

For to be hopeless would seem so strange.
It dishonors those who go before us,
So lift me up to the light of change."

Heartbreaking story. I hate to imagine that happening to my dog.
Yes, I think it warrants a lawsuit. Physical permanent injury was done. There were veterinary bills, extended therapy (even if performed by the owner) . A lawsuit would teach this company to be more careful about what products it sells. They should nail-em.
I'm actually still working with my vet to determine if my pet's recent vaccine gave him a disease which caused his anemia. There's apparently a chance that vaccination causes the disease and he was an otherwise healthy and young dog, so anemia is unusual. Naturally, calls to the drug manufacturer receive the standard, "oh, no, his test results are right in line and normal." I'm researching.

I can't even bring myself to click on the link. I don't even want to imagine what "paper shredder", "unplug" and "poor dog" could be doing together in a story. We have two dogs and a paper shredder which we keep blocked off (the shredder, not the dogs!).
The story isn't about a paper shredder, it's about a rubber ball which wasn't suitably ventilated so the dog's tongue got stuck. The dog is still alive, but I wouldn't say the poor thing was okay at all. It's a heartbreaker. ;_;
