Yeah, thats what we did too.
Last year at ACTF I sang "All I Care ABout is Love" from Chicago. I had a burned CD with the edited for time version on it and when I found out that I was to advance to the final round we had a rehearsal earlier in the day. Well the CD wouldn't play. In ANY CD player they could find. This was a mystery to me since it had worked in every other CD player I had tried. So it looked as if I was going to have to sing it Acapella. Then the stage manager called her techno-nut boyfriend and he brought his disc man, which played it. We hooked it up to these tiny little computer speakers. They were pretty loud, but I mean I had to fill a two thousand seat theatre with these things. That was what I got to use! But the theatre was so great for sound, that it was no problem at all. Ended up working fine, and I won the award for best musical performance, given out by Michelle Pawk and Jeff Calhoun.

YAY! I'm totally going to see you!
My school took "Speak Truth to Power" to the Evening of Scenes last year. We were nominated to take "Macbeth" this year, but I haven't heard anything yet about whether we will or not. I doubt that they'd have us represent the whole state of Indiana two years in a row... which is too bad, because I think our show rocks!
