My AIM won't work... I click the icon and nothing happens. I get an hourglass but no sign-on window. Anyone know why?

restart your system. if it's still doing it, reinstall the program. or just use Trillian and not have to deal with those pop ups when you login.

If you don't have installation privileges on your machine (presuming it's a work machine) then that could be why it doesn't work. It could be that your system administrators have blocked unapproved software.
If it HAD been working and no longer does, you should just reboot your machine and see what happens. The program may just have crashed.

This seems to work for me when I can't get into my AIM--Go to www.aol.com and then sign in w/ your s/n and p/w. Then click the lil AOL buddy icon thingy (The orange guy). It should work. I had to do this while at the hospital.
