Can anyone tell me if AMDA is even worth considering over a 4-yr university/conservatory or if i'm just wasting my time?

try using the search feature and searching "AMDA".

there was a reasonably long thread a while back that got a little off-topic at the end, but had some opinions/stories of experience that you'll want to look into.

and in the future, search things before you start a new thread. it'll save you catching some flack, probably.

i was really trying to find alumni or people who know people.. or that sort of thing.

I go to AMDA and I love it. It's a great school and has a lot to offer,however it is hard work because you are cramming soo much into 4 semesters.If you think you are ready for the bussiness then go to AMDA,but if your not ready for the bussiness you'll figure that out while in school because there is more to this industry than people think.It's hard and no matter what school you go to the difficulty of getting a job based on being in the right place at the right time is not going to change.
