"everybody says don't" from anyone can whistle would be good for both of those shows.
or "The apple tree (Forbidden Fruit)" from the apple tree.

find something a bit twisted for the assassins audition.
'Pretty Women' from sweeny todd?
sweeny's a bit of a f***ed up character and that is what it's all about in assassins surely? 
'something coming' from west side story (another sondheim, lol) is a gorgeous song, would that work for wonderful town?
