Hi. I have just come back from doing stage management at a school production, and everything went wrong. I mean everything. Anybody got any advice for facing the director (also my drama teacher) and cast tomorrow to do it again without dying? I just feel so awful, 'cause I let everyone down. Please help.

I know what you mean but not what you are asking. Doesn't the director see it's a mess?

I'm sorry re: Aaaaaaaaagh!!!. I'm not really sure what you should say to the director, but you should let them know that you're sorry. What happened?

Grace: I just gave a quarter to a homeless man. I think it was Johnny Depp.

Just own up to your mistakes. Don't try to make excuses. If someone has something negative to say to you, just tell them, "Look, I made some mistakes, but I am definitely working on making this the best it can be."

Don't worry... things will work out in the end! re: Aaaaaaaaagh!!!

It was mostly technnical stuff that went wrong, like projections and that. We did 'School of Rock' so there was a lot of music and the mics stopped working half way through. The director knows, and he just said, I'll talk to you about it tomorrow, so I'm kind of dreading it. Thanks for the advice. I know it'll blow over, I just feel bad that it went wrong.
