Posted: 3/3/06 at 12:34pmHollister is better, it's a little cheaper. The only difference in the clothes is one has a different design. Both stores are cool though.

Posted: 3/3/06 at 12:43pmI've always hated A&F. Never saw the appeal. Hot catalogue if you're into gay men who want to appear straight, but overrated awful clothes. I always loved the gay personal ads with those who claim to be an "A&F Boy". Yeah? Well, all that tells me is that you buy overpriced crap in the hopes that someone will either care about the label (rather than the person) and that you think it will make you an unrealistic "straight acting/appearing" black and white catalogue model (meaning that if you seem gay, you're obviously not as hot). How impressive!

Sorry Foster.
It took me getting to like episode 6 of the series to realise that Abercrombie and Fitch didn't hire black people...
I don't think we even have one Abercrombie store in Australia...

I'm still a JCrew guy... or was anyway. I'm at the website and I don't find anything I like.
And American Eagle is just as bland as A&F.

Posted: 3/4/06 at 9:19pmI know JCrew as a company is rather old as well...I wonder what their 1896 catalog looked like?

Posted: 3/4/06 at 9:25pmDuring French class the other day, a girl sitting next to me was going through the A&F website and was fangirling over the male models. I looked at one of them. The dude was beautiful...but I can't help thinking...how artifical the guy looked.

man, I took a 14 year old shopping last week. That will make anyone feel old. I wanted to run out of Hollister's, with it's stock of maybe 5 pants, 10 polo shirts of every hue, and 16 different rude phrase -shirts. Is it ok to let a teenage boy wear a t-shirt that says.."I'll tell your mother hi for you tonight when I take her"....or "Your shirt would look better if it was wet"..???
A&F made me realize what Gap is missing in it's clothing designs and why they aren't selling to teenagers as well as A&F....the skank factor in design and advertising.

Posted: 3/4/06 at 9:41pmI hate how dark A&F and Hollister are. It's practically impossible to match anything in that lighting.. or lack of lighting.

I actually like Abercrombie, not because of the brand name, but for the fit in their shirts. Also, Hollister's jeans are amazing!
