I thought someone here might have had more experience dealing with Telecharge and could advise me. I was given a Telecharge gift card for Christmas, with which I bought a ticket to Speed-the-Plow for a friend who loved Piven. When he pulled out I called and asked for a refund, and the man I spoke to said it was no problem.
Upon buying another ticket for another show, I found out that I'd not gotten the refund yet. I was told to put the request in writing and send it to a particular manager, which I did; I also requested that he call me upon receiving it, which he did not do. I called up again last week and was told to call back yesterday; upon doing that I was told that particular manager wouldn't be in till today (Wednesday).
I called today at 1:30 and was told to call back in an hour because he was "settling in." I explained that I was seeing August: Osage County and wouldn't be out till the evening, and was ASSURED that the manager would be in till 8. I called at 5:45 and found out that this manager had not in fact been in all day or all week, and that whoever told me he was had been "mistaken." This manager would, of course, be getting in touch with me when he had all the information. I left him a very angry voice mail demanding that he call me, but I'm not sure what else I can do. Does anyone have some advice about some real action I could take if the problem isn't addressed soon?

Resend your polite explanation and request in writing via certified mail, return receipt with as much detail and backup as you can include.
It's harder to ignore someone when the recipient is aware that the sender has proof that the request was mailed and received- and without proof, your conversation never happened and your letter doesn't exist.
