Obviously, it was a temporary thing.

Unfortunately, I can only state the facts of MY situation.

Phantom, your "situation," as you call it, happened over two weeks ago, and you're still whining.

As I said when you were last banned, your intent in starting the "if you were a porn star who would be" thread was to encourage folks to post pictures that you knew would be inappropriate. I've been reading your posts for over 3 years and your modus operandi is quite obvious. You've done it before, you been warned before, and you were banned before.

Your panties are all in a snit because you believe you're "untouchable", and above being denied posting privileges. Well, you're not, and crying to Eddie Varley didn't help you. You're as much subject to the guidelines as the next poster.

Now grow up, and get over it.

And my Mom did not tell me to say that.

Jose'- No, I've kept quiet for two weeks until you did it to another nice poster and gloated over it at which point I felt I should speak up regarding the way I've been recently treated by you.

If I did something wrong, I would have gladly accepted the punishment. Clearly in this case I did not do anything wrong. You have no idea what my "intent" was or wasn't. You like to use your power here to play God on this board. You are not a mind reader. You do not know what I think. Again, I did not "encourage" others to post inappropriate pictures in that thread and I sure as hell did not post any myself. Did you forget about the hairy bear daddy photo you posted, but later took down? Can we ban you? Sorry to say, the intention you thought I had was DEAD wrong.

To clarify some inaccurate facts reported by our lovely moderator: 1) I have been a poster for almost two years, not three so you must have been reading some other Phantom's posts for a year before I joined, 2) I have never been banned before and 3) You do not know what kind of underwear I wear and you will never know. Only my friends know that.

Jose'- I really don't care to win this battle with you so stop trying to act superior to me. You should learn to review the FACTS thoroughly first before jumping to conclusions and you should certainty not let personal issues come into play when you are acting as a moderator. In the words of The Donald...YOU'RE FIRED!

PS Why don't you read your beloved SHERLOCK's posts on other topics and then see if you want to put him up on a pedestal?

I have been told by someone else that I should not "out" a moderator publicly.

But, having been suspended once for no reason, I may as well say what I want to say and make my suspension worthwhile.

The things I have to say about him would break most of the rules (as if he never broke rules).

He posted a PRIVATE message I sent him, completely out of context. (Which I am sure he did to embarrass me, but when people asked what I meant, I explained. Jose ended up failing at what he meant to do.)

He called me names in PRIVATE messages he sent me. When I reported this, nothing happened that I can see.

He banned me for no reason and, as certain "high positioned" people agree with me (re: my old av), I can only imagine Jose did it because he was itching to use his newly shined DELETE button.

So, outing a moderator is wrong, but is the only way for people to understand what Jose is doing. Not to mention, I don't consider Jose to be a moderator, because a moderator would not do half the things Jose does.

People in power should deserve to be in power.

Now, I will probably get banned for this post. But I honestly don't care anymore. Jose has ruined the whole BWW experience for me, as well as for others.

P.S. I am not saying I am 100% innocent. Yes, I may have gone too far. But, I never received any message as to why I was being banned. I can only imagine it was for my avatar - which did not break rules.

P.P.S Jose' - how smart is it to post a picture of yourself?

And if you have something to discuss with me, Jose, do it in PM. Thank you.

Does anyone honestly believe any thread wanting to discuss a porn star or anything remotely related to pornography belongs on this site? Is anyone honestly so naive that they could not foresee any thread with porn in the title would lead down a certain path? The intent of the thread is irrelevant. If a moderator felt it was not appropriate for the site, then I suspect Rob agreed with that decision. I'm just baffled at why some seem to enjoy pushing their own buttons. Why does it seem some feel it's permissable to use various forms of spamming this site?

I find the indignation exhibited by some to not only be petty but humorous in that "laughing at you and not with you" sort of way. Who here hasn't been deleted at least once...known in their heart why...and got over it without skipping a heartbeat? And if you have been deleted and don't know why, why care. It's not life and death, get some perspective. I imagine for some that life will only get harder if they can't move on beyond the trivial.

I do remember back not so long ago when Jose' attempted to spearhead a campaign for an adult board. My, my how he was vilified then. So now when objectionable threads are deleted let's just blame Jose'...because he must not have fought hard enough to get that adult board that so many thought was such a bad, bad idea.

Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

etoile- With all due respect, you are totally missing the point here. This isn't about a thread being deleted. And you also forget, this is the OFF-topic board. If you were accused of having an intention which you did not have and got banned for a few days because someone wanted to make an example of you then I'm sure you'd change your tune. We all know Jose's hidden agenda here.

And FYI, Rob was too busy getting ready for Standing Ovations 4 to worry about the OFF-topic board, but I'm sure he cares when numerous posters send him PMs regarding their complaints about how certain sitations are inappropriately handled.

PS Do you think that when I post "Fritos - Hot or not?" that sales go up because I encourage people to buy them?

Everyone was awaiting my official statement and I made it above. If Jose's going to write something that's false, then I'm going to defend myself. I'm not gonna sit back and just let that happen. Why would I?

Oh please, everyday games are being played on this board. And Jose' is far from being one of the main players. Many see that certain posters do have their own agenda. If Jose' has one, then I'm at a loss to know what it is. So I guess it's not know to everyone. I suspect if he does have an agenda it's to make this site a child acceptable, work friendly place to visit. I certainly don't have a problem with that concept, and would wonder why others might.

I do know that the games go on, that backstories are unknown to most, but a glimmer into an aspect of some situation is carried over and brought to light in some threads. I do think that some threads should not be posted, that some threads go on far longer, far farther, than they should.

Not "everyone" was waiting or expecting an official statement. I suspect that most of us aren't that emotionally invested.

And that Frito comment just plain eludes me.

Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

I've disagreed with Jose' from time to time. C'est la vie.

I'm just saying that I think moderating this board must be a brutal job. And it's a safe bet that he's not getting rich from it. Like it or not, a moderator is necessary. It's a thankless job for which the return seems to be a lot of abuse. Nope, he's not always even-handed and I suspect that sometimes that delete button is payback. But still, I suspect that we all might react in similar ways if we were trying to moderate. I'm just guessing that it's a lot more difficult that it seems. Bet things look a lot different from another perspective.

And on that note, I'm going over to the unpopular opinion thread and post that I like Jose' a lot, even though he pisses me off every so often...

And let me just add, I read this board far more than I post on it. One thing I noticed happened on more than one occassion. There sometimes is a trend days prior to Standing Ovations (and other concerts) for some posters to act more squirrelly than usual. It's like there's something in the water.

I have also seen on nights of some concerts that some of the banned ex-members posted their vulgarities. It was like a green light for the RodneyK and the Marilyn Monroe types of the board. It seemed they thought they could post with impunity thinking all moderators were occupied elsewhere.

I think Iflit is correct. It seems a very thankless job.

I just saw a fantastic documentary at the Quad Cinema called "Gay Sex in the Seventies." It's about the sexually explosive 12-year period (1969-1981) between Stonewall--when gays at Stonewall's Bar made history by standing up to New York City police--and the onset of AIDS. It's gotten great reviews and will be featured at film festivals.

I'd like to discuss it with other posters like Namo and MasterLCZ who also lived through that era.

If I started that thread, would it get deleted?

Are you saying this thread is analagous, and that whichever guy that is who's mad at Jose is the Stonewall queens and that Jose is the police?

Or are you trying to get me banned by forcing me to use the world analagous?

I'm trying to get you banned by forcing you to recollect backroom sex in the 1970s.

Does "analagous" have anything to do with anal sex?

The backroom sex I had yesterday is much more vivid in my memory. What's with the fetishization of the '70s? Are you trying to get me banned? You know, Jose and I have always had a loving relationship, never a cross word was shared between us. A sodaku or two but never a cross word.

You two guys just want me to join you.

PJ, there was a thread a week or so ago that RobbieJ started about this documentary. The thread exists and was never deleted. "Gay Sex in the 70s," I believe it was called.

When together, Namo and I are too busy to speak except to mutter occasionally.

Why does this remind of a Maury Povich show? I always wonder why people feel the need to have these fights in public. Don't your realize how foolish you appear to your "audience"? Really, it is just pathetic.

SueleenGay- I don't have a cyber-mommy. I sent her packin'. In any event, I'm not having a fight. In fact, I'm not even mad. I'm just stating my side of the story. I am amazed at how many people sent me PMs showing their support and saying a similar thing happened to them. In fact, I may start a support group. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

PS I'd like to think the caliber of this board is more like Oprah. Jose'- Dr. Phil will see you now.
