Appalling. I'm going to show these to my students. Even the best history class doesn't give students the realization of how far we've come - and how far we had to go.

I do think it's awful how things get glossed over.

Airbrushing out our history is not the answer. I get squeamish when people (especially bigger companies) try to do that. I'm all for disclaimers in front of vintage films or cartoons that explain to viewers what they're looking at. I'm not for editing or altering them, however.
