Do you Americans have these wonderful cards?
I recently cashed in my air miles for $200 worth of groceries. My wallet and my stomach are very happy!
Another wonderful Canadian thing....Shoppers Optimum Points! Shoppers Drug Mart is the all-in-one drug store, and just so happens to be located right across the street from my house. I get a $75 shopping spree there from 3 months of points.
You gotta love free stuff.

Free Stuff in America...JID you Canadians are so funny..LOL !!! Whenever they say that something is free in the USA there is always something attached to it that involves paying $$$ for it.

haha.
Here there's no catch. It's just incentive to shop at those stores. You just collect points every time you make a purchase. I should be getting free gas soon from Petro Canada too.
And of course, there's the Subway Sub Club stamps.
I am a free-stuff-addict. I am also a starving student, which explains it.

$200 worth of groceries would last me forever!

(Well probably a couple months but you know what I mean.)

I thought Canadians foraged for their food. You have grocery stores up there? Who knew?

well, not ALL of us are farmers, and the farmers must be paid for digging up our carrots!
Of course, we still have to kill our own meat. But chickens, dead or alive, don't come cheap these days.

And Johnpopa, I can't cook.....so my groceries are more expensive being that they're usually frozen stuff. Plus that's $200 Canadian....which is like $2 American.

that's because they lived in France and not CANADA!
Just another reason why Canada is awesome.
