The response of somebody who knows that he or she messed up and are too high on their horse to admit it.

I'm not ashamed to say that I wish I did not have to share a planet with the kind of scum who think that my cousin and her amazing wife should have their marriages cancelled.

I recall that Alan Thicke publicly called out Kirk Cameron for his vile opinions on the matter. He was a real class act, and will be missed.
