Damned my father called me a lot worse then "Pig" when he was mad. There is no excuse for those tapes to be handed over to TMZ! The person who did THAT is the true child abuser.

I make parenting mistakes every day. He should have not called his daughter a pig, but it does not make him a bad father and in fact he might be a great father. One little snippet in a moment of time means nothing!

I don't see the difference between releasing the tape and Baldwin doing interviews to explain the tape. It doesn't help his daughter or his relationship with his daughter to keep rehashing it and badmouthing Basinger. He's not concerned about the daughter. He's more concerned about his reputation. If I were him, I would sit back and shut up. Like his idiocy involving Greg Garcia, he looks like a fool when he starts going on the attack or trying to explain his behavior. He may want to avoid the outbursts, fights, and name-calling so that he doesn't have to go on the "I'm really a good person" press tours.

How many more incidents of anger and physical outbursts before he takes responsibility? It's always someone else's fault. I'm not suggesting he doesn't have a legitimate gripe with Basinger or her attorney, but this is a man who has a constant history of outbursts and fights and was acting out long before he and Basinger went their separate ways.

Unfortunately Kim can't leave the house to come thank your team in person. Also, she's frightened of the computer because "they can see in" with it. We'll try to get your message of support to her next time she's due for a changing.

my room mate did wardrobe on a film with him about 13 yrs ago and had to ride out to LI in the limo with him daily. He was so terrified of him he would cling to the far side of the seat and avoid eye contact, but I don't think the famous anger was ever directed at him

I've been to some parties with him, but due to his rep, I just smile and walk on by. My PETA friend always charges up and talks to him, and he always remembers her name & is very sweet to her (I think she thinks he is a potential PETA celeb supporter). I've even sat and had martinis with him but I said not a word, just the old smile and nod.

It appears that he is pretty good friends with Marjoe, so I need to stay on his good side.

In my right hand I hold all of the "Kim is a psycho" stories.

In my left hand, oh, and in the file cabinet, and in a small stack of boxes in the corner... we have most of the "Alec is a psycho" stories.

The back room is reserved for the "Ireland" future stories.

You obviously did not watch the interview or read the book. It is about divorced fathers rights and abuse in the court systems. It tears the money making machine of divorce Lawyers apart.

Dame, I never claimed to have seen the actual 20/20 interview, but I have seen other segments about the book and the interview. I have seen him blame the media, Basinger, and Harvey Levin for all his problems. He paints himself as the innocent victim who was near suicide. Nothing is ever Baldwin's fault. They made him do it. The justice system is corrupt. Basinger is evil. Are you saying the 20/20 interview (of which I've seen snippets) did not continue the poor me routine?

I think it's pretty obvious that the Baldwin family is highly dysfunctional. However, Basinger had her dirty team at work as well. The poor kid will suffer the consequences. Can you say, The O'Neals???
