Did Travelocity ever compensate the writers of the movie Amelie for using the traveling gnome idea?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I don't know if the travelling gnome is an "Amelie" idea...they also use the gnome in "The Full Monty", albeit not a travelling one.
