Anyone else watching tonight? I think the ventriloquist is the most talented and entertaining (and humble). It makes me mad that the 14 year old girl is in the final four as she just has a passable voice. They keep mentioning her age but last year's winner was only 11 and her voice was amazing. This girl's voice is not mature enough to be called "most talented". She's off pitch, is flat, and has poor timing. The reggae guitarist guy is also very good and entertaining. As far as Butterscotch, she is unique and beautiful. When she sings without beat boxing, she's just okay to me.
I don't mind Julienne Irwin - she's certainly better than the girl who won last year. I thought, however, she had not a chance in hell until that Over the Rainbow performance. I've never in my life been able to stand anyone singing that but Garland, but I completely loved what she did with it. I don't think she's going to win, but she's going to go places.
I really think any one of the other three deserve to win.
Yeah, Julienne was doing Eva Cassidy's version (although what does the moon have to do with a rainbow? That staging was SOOOOO Cheesy!). Once you hear Eva's version, no one else can compare. If you haven't heard it, it's on the Songbird CD. You must check it out. She was an amaing talent! Bianca last year had a powerful voice but she doesn't seem to be very marketable. I saw her album at Target last year and the song choices were so cheesy I'm still rooting for the ventriloquist. He seems so passionate and humble. His talent is so hard to do too!
Oh the staging was the cheesiest, absolutely! I think the ventriloquist is amazing, truly. He'll definitely have a Vegas career out of this. But there's something about Cas Haley that just touches my heart.
Agree- Cas is a very good musician and entertainer. I also like his humility. In this pool, Julienne should be 4th. I'd be happy if any of the other three won as well as I think they have struggled more and would really appreciate the win.
