I am straight, and I enjoy all types of performance art.

What does sexual orientation have anything to do with it?

I don't think it really does, and perhaps I was sending the wrong message by asking what I thought was a simple question. Was I wrong in asking?

Useless, the question as you stated it can seem offensive. However, it's an understandable observation that many Broadway audiences seem to be made up of homosexual people.

Oh, beleive me, when you start insulting gay people it has the potential for some very hilarious moments, but that wasn't my intention here.

Besides, I'm an equal opportornity discriminator anyway. I make fun of people no matter who they are.

Indeed. However, I do find it interesting that this particular industry draws this large of a "homosexual" crowd as it does. Sure, you have your mixture if gay/straight in everything, but I've never figured out why this particular industry does what it does.

Perhaps a starting point for some kind of study.

No, not an interesting question at all. In fact it seems remarkable similar in content to the ones composed by RodneyK in the past. His were usually phrased more crudely. But of course you know that already, right? From all that extensive lurking you did prior to joining, correct?

Look. I am not RodneyK. Your hatred for him is wasted on me. No. I'm not insulting gay people, I just thought it a somehwat interesting topic of discussion.

A few of you have somehow become convinced, due to a topic that I made, that I'm RodneyK. Of course, you're allowed to believe what you're allowed to believe, but just know that I'll be sitting here laughing at you for your gullibility.

One person makes a topic about somebody, basically making fun of him, and they believe you are him... Take note of that, kids.

So why after "lurking" was your very first thread about someone who was banned for being a MRer months ago? Did you do a search and read all his past posts and feel compelled to resurrect his name? What is the point? Didn't you find anything else here more interesting to post about?

I was bored. And it worked. I got the attention, didn't I? It's the most fundamental rule of writing: choose a title that hooks your audience. The title doesn't technically have to be true.

Seems to me...if you are straight, and you've gone to a good play and enjoyed it, you've answered your own question...and there's no need to start a thread searching for an answer.
